About My Art

ねこ、いぬ、アザラシ、タコ。
空創の世界をつくっています。
古いもの、新しいもの、丸いもの、しかくのもの、明るいもの、暗いもの。
影があるからこそ光がある。美しさの逆は本当は、無なのではないかと考える。
作品を造る行為はゼロから１を生みだしてゆく。
可愛くないと言われるものにこそ、創造の美は生きている。
その影こそが光の素となる。
そう、思いながら空創世界をつくっています。
Cats, dogs, seals and octopuses. As an artist, I create imaginary somethings out of air.
Something old, new, round, square, bright or dark. I believe the light only exists because of the shadow, and the true opposite of the beauty is actually “nothing”.
The entire creative actions literally creates one out of zero.
The beauty of creativity is alive within the things people would call them not pretty.
That shadow constructs the ingredients of light.
I am creating art works believing so.
